This is all new to me.
Looks like 2026 is the year of the polarity coach and I don’t know if I should be dying from laughter or feeling a little sad. I’ll figure it out later anyways…
Fresh off of the guru carousel, everywhere I look, there’s another guru selling courses on “How to Be Polarising in Business” or “Authentic Polarisation for Relationship Success.”
I mean I’m pretty sure it was all about AI only a few weeks/months ago.
Now you literally have these clowns charging money to teach others how to have controversial opinions and piss people off strategically.
If you need to be coached on how to be polarising, you should probably just jump into a lake instead.
Being genuinely polarising isn’t a technique you learn in a mastermind. It’s not a strategy you can optimise or a skill you can develop through practice modules. It’s what happens when you have actual convictions and the balls to express them publicly, regardless of who gets offended.
What these clowns are teaching is more akin to performative controversy.
They don’t really believe what they’re saying and it almost hinges on parody and satire, cause behind closed doors we know they aren’t really like that at all.
This is purely for engagement, rage bait and anything that juices the forever changing algo in your favour.
The formula is embarrassingly simple though.
Look at what’s trendy, then find reasons to discredit it, hate it, or take the opposite position. Whatever the mainstream is celebrating, you shit on. Whatever the zeitgeist is embracing, you reject.
Crypto is hot? Become the anti-crypto guy. Everyone’s praising work-life balance? Become the hustle culture evangelist. Minimalism is trending? Start preaching maximalism. Plant-based diets are popular? Become the carnivore advocate.
It doesn’t matter if you actually believe any of it. It just matters that you pick a lane that runs counter to popular opinion and commit to the bit hard enough to build an audience of people who feel validated by your contrarian takes.
Jokes aside.
If you want to be genuinely polarising, here’s your free coaching session…
Develop actual opinions about things that actually matter to you. Then share those opinions without caring who gets upset about them. That’s it. That’s the whole strategy in a nutshell. Everything else is just theatre.
So if you want to save your money. Jump in a lake instead.
