So I actually sat down just to type this super in-depth email and then I got to the end and I was like, “Wow this doesn’t even make sense.”
Then I got up, put my earphones in, and I just started to talk.
Lately I’ve just found it much easier to just let the words flow while dictating into my phone.
I’ve been going for walks and talking and racking up masses of text that I can then get home, polish up, and send out into the world.
As much as I would like to think this email is going to be incredibly helpful and change your life…
This is more for if you are struggling to write anything or your brain seems to be stuck.
Just go for a walk. Put some earphones in, and just let your brain take control as you spit words and thoughts out.
You can either record the audio or use one of those transcription apps. It doesn’t really matter because it’s your words. That’s the whole essence of “write like you speak” but then information just seems to come out better. Your brain does this weird thing where it just makes up thoughts and ideas and pulls them from random experiences. I mean you’re using AI, AKA actual intelligence, to do this, which is beautiful. (Here’s one little trick that the AI nerds don’t want you to know…)
I’m going to start calling this my Dictatorship.
On a side note from yesterday: at least I didn’t drop myself in the Thames. I’ve been fairly productive today, believe it or not.
I’m also glad we didn’t get nuked because apparently the government sent out some alarm to say that, “Hey, it’s quite hot, things might burn,” and then a few minutes later sent out another one saying, “Hey, we might get a thunderstorm.” As much as I’m confused and you’re probably confused reading this stupid email, I think yeah, it’s not all bad.
Right well this is turning into one of my diary entries so I’m just going to shut up now and press send.
