I’m not usually one to write about these days.
But I see and know how difficult they can be for everyone.
The grass is not always green.
We don’t all come home to the white picket fence.
It’s not always sunny in Philadelphia.
All I want to do is let you know that my inbox is always open if you’re struggling.
Sometimes we need to vent.
Sometimes we need a hug and a cup of tea.
Sometimes we just need to express gratitude.
This life is definitely not just black and white. It’s full of every colour and shade and that’s what makes it beautiful.
Where there is happiness, there’s also sadness. Where there’s healing, there’s also trauma and where there is despair. There is always hope.
Brighter days will come after the storm clears.
And as much as we celebrate the great men in our lives, especially our fathers if they are still around.
Just remember there are also people who go through the complete opposite.
No matter where you are and what you’re going through today.
I’m proud of you.
I’ve got you.
And everything will be okay.
Lastly if you are celebrating fathers day and honouring the good dads, reach out to someone who may not have had that experience.
We’re all in it together.
