I found a new “home” aka email service provider that allowed me genuine freedom of speech, which was also created by one of my favourite marketers of the last, I dunno. 20 years? Ben Settle.
I was also lucky to grab a consultation call with him which is something he never does.
He gave me a bit of a kick and a bit of direction, especially cause we both have a massive interest in you guessed it…
Email and writing, especially writing fiction.
Now as much as this email list is a dumping ground for whatever is swirling around in my skull. I also tie it into marketing, writing and overall lessons that can be applied to whatever it is you’re doing as a creative.
I’m here to share some info, entertain and overall just show you that things can be awesome without all of the social media bullshit.
Lately I’ve been tagged and sent posts on different platforms about A.I. and yes, you know I’ve written a few emails here and there dunking on A.I.
Cause let’s be honest. Anyone who has made A.I. their whole personality needs to get bullied.
I have my own hang ups about it, especially from the Generative A.I. side which is all built on theft of IP.
And I’ll probably put up an in depth essay or write a mega long email about it.
But the true direction I’ll be adding into this email list as it grows is just more support for small business owners. Whether you’re just starting out or even have a business doing well. I want to support you.
I don’t care if you’re selling feet pics or how to train a pig to belly dance. I want the world to know that us independent creators can stand on our own two feet.
Advertising and marketing is dying because there’s way too much generative slop out there and everything is starting to look and feel the same. There is nothing human about it. Amplified brain rot is not my jam and if you’re reading this. I know it’s not yours either.
We’re all humans and human doing human stuff is cool.
So you can expect the same shenanigans daily…
With the occasional little shoutout of business owners, artists and creatives of all types here too.
